Editorial Policy

This policy explains how The GLP Journal decides what to publish, how we write it, and how it is reviewed.

Purpose

We publish to help people make informed decisions about GLP-1 medicines — what they do, what they cost, what the evidence says, and what to ask a clinician. We are not a substitute for a clinician.

Sourcing and evidence

We prioritize primary and authoritative sources: peer-reviewed trials, FDA communications, and manufacturer data. When we cite a number (a weight-loss percentage, a trial result), we name the trial or source. We do not present trial averages as individual predictions.

Sourcing and corrections

Clinical claims are checked against primary sources before publication, and each article lists those sources with the specific claim each one supports. Claims that cannot be supported are removed or corrected. Articles carry a published date and a last-updated date, and we update them when the evidence or the regulatory position changes rather than leaving stale guidance in place.

Disclosure of conflicts

The GLP Journal is published by LunaRx. Where an article reviews or compares a service — including LunaRx — we disclose that conflict of interest openly on the page. We do not hide it.

Corrections and updates

We update articles as evidence and availability change. Each article shows its last-updated date. If you find an error, contact editorial and we will correct it.

What we will not do

We do not make individualized medical recommendations, guarantee outcomes, or present compounded GLP-1s as FDA-approved. We do not impersonate physicians.
